Music industry veteran Rick Eberle launches 'Rising Stars Radio'
Eberle is a multi-faceted industry leader in the Long Island music scene. He is a publicist, artist manager, booking agent, singer-songwriter, guitar player, as well as television and radio personality. He is also the co-lead singer and founding member of his band Iridesense. His “Rising Stars Radio” show will take place every Monday at 10 p.m. on WHPC 90.3 FM, and it will replay on Tuesdays at 5 a.m. It is expected to premiere new music and interviews from Long Island’s top music acts in such diverse musical genres as rock, blues, R&B, hip-hop and even reggae, among others. Eberle is stoked to kick off this new weekly radio show at Nassau Community College. “It feels great to be back on the FM airwaves after a short break. Excited to get this party started,” Eberle exclaimed, in a press statement. His career in radio has been extensive on Long Island. He has worked in marketing and promotion at 92.7 FM, and he was a co-host on 94.3 FM, which was subsequently followed by promotions director at 94X FM. Eberle also hosted “Uncharted”, which is a pod-cast for up-and-coming artists. In television, Eberle began his “Rick’s Rising Stars” television show, which is produced by My Long Island TV for Verizon Fios1 News, in 2010, and it has aired over 100 episodes to date. He is also an in-studio events host for “The Weekly Show” at Inravio.com.
